Coffee (if you want)
3/8 litre milk
80 grams sugar
1 pkg vanilla sugar (german)
500 grams apple
125 grams raisins (optional)
100 grams ground almonds

Mix all ingredients together and heat and pour over the buns and enjoy.

Many many memories. We were not the wealthiest family living in Germany, and our grandmother made everything taste great even stale buns. We ate this as kids, and I still love it to this day.
