Chunk of ham
3 bay leaves
1 medium onion
Finely diced carrots (your preference 1 or 2)
1 can tomato juice (1.36 Ltrs or 48 oz)
Dill
Parsley
1 tbsp flour
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Put 2 quarts of water in pot. Add a chunk of ham, 3 bay leaves, salt, medium onion halved. Simmer until ham is done (approximately 1 hour). Add more water if water cooks away.

Add diced carrots after about ½ hour. Remove meat and onion and bay leaves.

Add tomato juice. Bring to a boil, add pepper and a bundle of dill and a bundle of parsley, bring to a boil again. Take 1 tbsp flour and 1 cup whipping cream mix til smooth, add mixing slowly to pot. Bring to a boil again and taste for flavour.

Optional: add 1 tbsp sugar to take away acidity.

Boil for two minutes and done! Cook Rice and add to individual soup bowls.

Soup is not stored with rice - rice swells and sucks up all the juices.
