1 cup flour
½ cup margarine (or soft butter)
⅓ cup ground almonds
2 tbsp granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, margarine/butter, sugar and ground almonds. Pat into an 8 inch square baking dish and bake 15-20 minutes at 350°F or until golden; cool.


½ cup icing sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup whipping cream whipped (cool whip optional)


Beat cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla together until smooth, fold in half the whipped cream until fluffy. Spread evenly on nut crust.


1 package (Sherriff) lemon pie filling
¼ cup sliced toasted almonds


Prepare pie filling according to directions omitting butter; cool to luke warm stirring occasionally, spread over cheese layer. Refrigerate until cold. Spread remaining whipped cream evenly over top.

Refrigerate at least 4 hours.

Garnish with toasted almonds just before serving.
