Filling:

7 cups peeled and sliced apples (5-8 apples)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping:

1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup butter

One unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º.

Combine sugar and flour, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.

Place apples in a large bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine rest of filling ingredients and mix through apples. Pile into unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle topping over all. Bake at 450º for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375º and continue baking for 35 minutes. Place foil loosely over pie for last 15 minutes.
