Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I put soda in soaking the beans because it helps the process of making them softer and give us less gas!! This is Robyn Lund's soup recipe, Thus the name, she gave neighbors 2 cups of beans with this recipe one year for Christmas. I thought it was a great idea! I really like the flavor of this soup. When my mom use to make Ham and Bean soup she made it with just Lima beans. I really didn't like the smell of it and so never tasted it. But I really like this bean soup! I have used this recipe for years. I love it. I always save ham bones when ever we have ham. I freeze them until I am ready to make the soup.
