1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup butter
2 eggs
4 ripe bananas (the blacker, the better!) mashed
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 Tbsp sour milk*
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs and the bananas, beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and soda together. Add flour mixture to the egg mixture alternately with the sour milk. Add vanilla. Beat well for 2 minutes.

Pour into greased pan – 9 x 13 or (2) 8x8.

Bake for 30- 35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

*To make sour milk add 1 to 2 tsp of white vinegar to milk
