1 lb crab meat, jumbo lump or back fin
1 lb crab claw meat
2 large eggs
2 slices of white bread, crumbled
3 T Worcestershire sauce
½ c mayonnaise
1 tsp dry mustard
1 T Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
4 T butter
Directions:
Directions:
Gently pick through the crabmeat, removing shell and cartilage.

In a separate bowl, beat eggs with a fork. Add mayo, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, Old Bay. Mix well.
Place crab meat in a large bowl. Add egg/mayo mixture. Stir gently.

Add crumbled bread. Stir gently until well mixed.

Form crab mixture in crab cakes, using about ½ cup of mixture per crab cake. Place on platter, cover.

Refrigerate at least 6 hours or until thoroughly chilled.

In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add crab cakes. Don't crowd them! Leave enough space between cakes for turning. Cook approximately 10 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom. Gently turn crab cakes over.

Continue cooking for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to serving platter. If necessary add more butter to frying pan an continue cooking the rest of the crab cakes.
