Another special memory: Brattens was one of my mother and my favorite places to go for lunch together when I was an older teen and young wife. She would pick me up and we would head to Brattens together. It was so delicious. It was a fish restaurant located on 4th south where Arby's is now. I would always order their fish and chips and this soup. It makes my mouth water to think of it. As soon as you sat down they would serve you a relish tray with tomatoes, olives, green onions, carrots and celery. Another memory: Brattens is the restaurant where Scott and I took our parents to introduce them to each other. There was another Brattens in Odgen and one across the street from Sugar House park where the Dodo is. Golly I miss that place!
