Ingredients: 3 carrots One onion 1 sm. celery head of celery 1 1/2 pounds butter 3 cups flour 1 lb. Cheese Whiz 24 chicken bouillon cubes 1 1/2 gallon water 1 pkg. frozen peas (Optional cooked broccoli)

Directions: |
Directions:Dice all Veg. par boil together, the carrots, celery and onion in some of the water. Warm cheese either in microwave or in a pot of 2 inches of boiling water. Heat the rest of the water and add the bouillon cubes. Melt butter add flour to make a roux. Add to boiling water. Stir until creamy remove from heat add cheese and stir until creamy. Add vegetables and water so you don't lose the nutrition of the water. Add frozen peas and broccoli simmer 15 minutes. |

Notes: My personal favorite Cheddar Cheese recipe. I remember as a teenager going to the Print Shop before a dance, or on a date etc. and when you would sit down they would serve this soup while you looked at the menu. They would put a Soup Tureen full of soup at your table and you could dish up as much as you wanted. Such great memories I am pretty sure I would always order their Prime Rib. Delicious! It was located across from the Salt Palace in downtown SLC. But it isn't there anymore! The reason they called it the Print Shop is that is what it used to be before It was a restaurant. It was a very old building. I was sad to see it go.
