3/4 Cup shortening
1/4 cup boiling water
1 T milk
2 scant cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over shortening and whip with a fork.
Add milk, salt, and flour and mix until moist
Roll out in to a circle that will cover pie tin.
Add fruit filling
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes turn down to 350 for 1 hour
Brown top turn oven to broil
Watch carefully
Sprinkle top with sugar.
