Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large head of fresh broccoli (3-5 cups, depending on whether you include the stem or not and preference of broccoli-to-beef ratio)
½ pounds marinated kalbi flank steak (e.g. from QFC)
2 Tbsp of vegetable oil for sautéing
salt and/or soy sauce to taste
red chili pepper flakes to taste (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Clean and prep broccoli by cutting into florets and slicing the stem into rectangular bite-size pieces (about ¼ inch thick, 2 inches long).

2. Slice marinated flank steak into thin, bite-size pieces (about ¼ inch thick, 2 inch long).

3. Sauté the broccoli first and put aside by…
a) Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a saute pan (or wok) over medium heat.
b) Add the broccoli and sauté briefly until the they are evenly coated in oil, the color is bright green and become tender (careful not to overcook).
c) Add a pinch of salt to lightly flavor, but not too much since the marinated kalbi beef will bring salt to the dish.
d) Take out of the sauté pan and set aside.

4. Sauté the marinated kalbi beef in the same pan by…
a)Drain any liquid from the sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
b)Add the sliced beef into the pan, and sauté until the they are cooked through (it doesn’t take too long).

5. Add back the sautéed broccoli into the pan with the sautéed flank steak and mix together until the broccoli is coated with the kalbi sauce from the beef and turn off heat.

6. Add additional salt (or soy sauce) to taste. For those who enjoy a little heat, you can sprinkle some red chili pepper flakes.
