2 C. Cooked Raisins
1 C. Butter
1C. Shortening
2 C. Sugar
3 Eggs
4 C. Flour
4 tsp Cocoa
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Nutmeg
2.5 C. Burgundy Wine
2 C. Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Put raisins in a pan of cold water and bring to a boil, then drain.

Cream butter and shortening.
Add Sugar and mix thoroughly.
Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.

In a separate bowl:
Mix flour, cocoa, soda and spices.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with the wine.
Stir in raisins and nuts.

Grease and flour 3 - 9x5 loaf pans
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until done and springs back when gently touched.
Cool 10 mins, then place on racks.
