Nana's Granola Recipe

5½ c. rolled oats
2 c. spanish peanuts
1¼ c. whole wheat flour
2 c. shredded coconut
½ c. corn meal
1 lg pkg Dromedary dates or any pitted dates
½ c. bran
1 tbsp salt
1 c. honey
½ c. unsweetened molasses
½ c. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200º

Chop the dates and add ½ c. water. Let sit until mushy.

Mix oil, honey and molasses, then add ¼ c. boiling water.

Pour honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until moist. If too moist, add ¼ c. bran

Place on large baking pan and bake 1½ - 2 hours stirring every 15 - 20 minutes.

Let cool and store in air tight contaier
