1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup old fashioned oats
3/4 tsp cinnamon

Filling
8 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350.
Topping- Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, oats, and cinnamon.
Filling- In a seperate bowl combine apples, sugar, corn starch cinnamon and allspice. Mix well. Evenly spoon apple mixture into a 9X13 pan. Spoon topping mixture evenly over apple filling. Bake 1 hour or until golden brown.
