3-4 lbs boneless roast
2 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp barbecue spice
1/4 tsp thyme
10- 12 whole allspice
1/2 large green pepper, cut into strips
3-4 cloves garlic
3 medium onions, sliced
10-12 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup water

With a long fork pierce surface of meat all around. Sprinkle thyme, barbecue spice, and seasoned salt over meat. Let stand at room temperature for 2-3 hours piercing often to allow seasoning to penetrate the meat.
Place in pan with tight lid, adding the remaining ingredients before covering. Simmer until done. Remove meat and slice. Strain broth to remove allspice and refrigerate broth until fat hardens on top. Remove fat. Return meat to broth and simmer 1-2 hours. Serve warm with Italian bread or hero rolls.
