Cake:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup heated milk
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Topping:
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
5 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp milk or cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a mixer bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar gradually and beat well. Add flour and baking powder.
In a saucepan, heat the milk and add the butter, salt and vanilla. When butter is melted, add the milk mixture to the mixing bowl. Beat well.

Bake in a 8X8 greased pan for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix all topping ingredients together. While cake is still warm, cover it with the topping. Place the cake under a broiler until topping bubbles.
