¾ cup warm water- not hot
1 package dry yeast
¼ cup sugar
2 ¼ cups self rising flour
1 tsp salt
¼ cup shortening (Crisco)
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine warm water, dry yeast, and sugar- let sit for 5 minutes
Combine yeast mixture with the rest of the ingredients
Let rise until double in size (about 1 hour)
Roll out on floured board
Spread butter on mixture
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
Roll up dough
Cut to size
Put in greased pan
Let rise again for an hour
Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes
Frost rolls with icing while hot
