Cake:

1½ cups sugar
2 cups of flour
1 stick of butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. cold brewed coffee
1 cup of buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Glaze:
1½ sticks of butter
2⅔ cups of butter
4 tbsp. of cold brewed coffee
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the cake ingredients and blend well together. Bake on a cookie sheet at 350º for approximately 20 minutes. While it is baking combine the ingredients for the glaze. Ice while hot and poke a few small holes throughout the cake to help the glaze soak into the cake.

My mom used to make this cake all the time. It doesn't last very long, but I canremember having it even when I was a kid. I have made it for years the kids loved it and now the grandkids enjoy eating it. It has definitely become a favorite family standby.
