2 cups vinegar
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon sea salt
6 bay leaves
1 tablespoon black pepper corns
½ teaspoon turmeric
⅛ teaspoon pickle crisp for each jar (half pint jar)

Banana peppers, seeded and cut into rings
1/2 cup sliced onions (optional)

Directions:

Pack peppers and onions into jar

Combine all ingredients (except pickle crisp) into sauce pan, bring to boil simmer for a few minutes.
Pour mixture over peppers in jars.
Add ⅛ teaspoon pickle crisp per jar.
Seal hand tight and let age 2-3 weeks before eating.
