3 c unsifted flour
2 c sugar
1 c cooking oil
4 large eggs
½ tsp salt
½ c orange juice
2½ tsp vanilla
3 tsp baking powder
6 apples, thinly sliced
2 tsp cinnamon
3 T sugar
Directions:

Mix together first 8 ingredients. Grease and flour a tube pan.

In another bowl combine the remaining 3 ingredients.

Pour into tube pan. Place one layer of batter, then a layer of apples and then repeat, ending with apples on top.

Bake at 350 until done.
