Smoked salmon, sliced

Spread:
2 cups cream cheese (I prefer Western, but Philadelphia is fine too)
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. capers, chopped
1 tsp. caper liquid from the jar of capers
1 1/2 tsp fresh dill

Baguette, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
With a wooden spoon, in a bowl, stir the cream cheese until very smooth.
Add the onion, capers, caper liquid and dill to the bowl.
Mix well until all is well incorporated.

Slice baguette.

Spread each slice of baguette with a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture.
Top with a slice of smoked salmon.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh dill.

This is any easy and delicious recipe.
The spread can be made in advance so all you have to is assemble before your party. Just make sure the cream cheese mixture is back to room temperature when you go to assemble.

A winner every time and is great with cocktails and/or wine.
