"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ gallon Vanilla Ice Cream
½ gallon Raspberry Sherbet
Container of Cool Whip
Mini Chocolate Chips
Green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Slightly soften ice cream and spoon in and smooth around the inside of a round bowl that has been lined with aluminum foil. Freeze. Slightly soften sherbet, adding just enough mini chips to resemble watermelon seeds. Remove mold from freezer and add sherbet. Cover and refreeze. Before serving, add green food coloring to cool whip until you get a nice rind-like color. Remove mold from freezer, loosen and invert over serving plate. Peel off foil. Cover with cool whip, slice and serve. It looks like watermelon slices. Fun for a summer BQQ.

Personal Notes:
I used to serve this on Pin Oak for summer parties. The kids loved it. It looks pretty on the table.
