1 - 40-46 ounce Kosher or Polish dill pickles, not processed
1 1/4 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 heaping tablespoons horseradish

Directions:
Directions:
Drain all liquid from pickles and discard. Cut pickles lengthwise in halves or quarters. Return pickles to the jar. Add remaining ingredients. Shake jar to dissolve sugar and mix well. Refrigerate. The liquid will mysteriously reappear overnight. Let set 2-3 days to blend flavors. Shake often or every time you go to the refrigerator. The longer they set, the better the are!
