1 lb. Italian Sausage, casing removed.
3 russet potatoes, sliced into wedges
2 cloves garlic
1 large white onion, chopped
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups of kale or Swiss chard-chopped
1½ Cup heavy cream
1 cup water
kosher salt and pepper to taste
OPTIONAL** bacon

Directions:
Please sausage in large skillet and cook over med-high heat until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Drain and reserve 1 Tbs. grease. Set aside. Using the grease saute' onions, during last 1-2.add the garlic stirring frequently. Pour chicken broth and water and bring to boil. Add potatoes and cook for 2-15 minutes until potatoes are cooked. Return sausage to pan and stir in kale. Cook until leaves are wilted and sausage is warmed. Slowly stir in cream and add seasoning. Serve immediately. OPTIONAL** Crumble bacon on top.
