2 sticks butter
1 cu sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 c sifted flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350º
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add vanilla and egg. Mix well.
4. Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
5. Add dry mixture to wet mixture, mix well.
6. Form into 1" balls.
7. Dip ball into anise seeds, sesame seeds, sugar or candy decorations.
8. Place onto cooked sheets.
9. Bake for 10 minutes
