Peel and slice
Clean out seeds. If any.
Chop slices.
In a medium size pan add 1 1/2 cups of water.
Boil until tender
Drain and Cool.

Start with adding 1 cup of granulated sugar.
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp of Cream of Tatar
1/2 tsp salt
4 tablespoons butter
2 pie crusts
Bake at 450º for 10 minutes
Reduce Temperature to 350º for 40 minutes
