Ingredients:
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (1 stick)
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Have all ingredients at room temperature.
Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat oven to 350º
Line a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with greased aluminum foil, allowing it to overhang the 2 narrow ends of the pan by about 2 inches.
In a large heavy saucepan over very low heat, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth.
Set aside to cool completely. Then stir in sugar and vanilla until well combined. Next stir in eggs, then stir in flour and nuts just until combined.
Scrape the batter into the pan and spread to the edges. Bake for 23-28 minutes, until the center is almost firm when lightly pressed and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove the pan to a rack and let stand until completely cool. Using the overhanging foil as handles, lift the brownie to a cutting board. Carefully peel off the foil. Cut into bars.
