2 sticks butter
1/4 Cup cocoa
1 Cup water
2 Cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten with whisk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/4 Cup cocoa
6 Tbsp whole milk or half and half
1 lb box powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp vanilla
1 Cup chopped pecans (opt)

Cake:
Bring butter, cocoa and water to a boil in saucepan (or microwave). Cool. Stir in sugar by itself. Stir in remainder of ingredients, beating to mix.

Pour into greased 10"x16" jelly roll pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350º. Not necessary to cool before icing.


Frosting:
Bring butter, cocoa and milk to boil in saucepan. Remove from heat. Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Spread on cake while it is still warm.
