1 lb bacon
2 - 10 oz cans whole water chestnuts
¾ c. lightly packed brown sugar
½ c. tomato relish (regular salsa)
¼ c. ketchup
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 clove garlic minced

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bacon slices in half, wrapping ½ slice around chestnut. Secure with a toothpick. Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 400º F for 25 - 30 min., until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels.
Place on baking dish just large enough to hold them.
Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over the chestnut bacon rolls. Bake at 350º F for 30 min. stirring occasionally to coat with sauce.
