1 1/2 C flour
1 C sugar
3 T cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 T white vinegar
1 C cold water
5 T melted shortening
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and sift into an ungreased baking dish- flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Make three holes in dry ingredients- into the first hole put 1 T white vinegar, into the second hole put 1 C cold water, into the third hole put 5 T melted shortening and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat only until ingredients are mixed smooth. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
