1 c. Butter
Two eggs
1/4 c. Lemon juice
1/2 t. Salt
A few grains of Cayenne pepper

Have all ingredients at room temperature. Melt butter over hot water and beat in the rest of the ingredients with a rotary beater, continuing until thick. Remove at once from hot water. Makes 1 1/2 c.
