2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup French pecans or chopped nuts
1 cup dates, chopped
1/3 cup cherries drained and chopped
2 1/2 corn flakes, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla to butter and sugar mixture and beat well. Add in dry ingredients gradually and mix well. Add in nuts, dates and cherries; mix well. Drop rounded tsp. in crushed corn flakes and toss lightly. Place on greased baking sheet and top with 1/4 cherry. Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes.
