12 slices white bread
Softened butter
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 lb. pork sausage
¼ cup green onion (chopped)
10 eggs
3 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sause

Directions:
Directions:
The night before: Cook sausage thoroughly until crumbly. Add onion and sauté before it is completely done. Drain grease and allow meat to cool.

Butter six slices of bread (both sides) and place them evenly in the bottom of a 9-13-inch baking dish. Spread sausage over first layer of bread. Cover with all except ¼ cup of the cheese. Top sausage and cheese with the second layer of bread. Beat the remaining ingredients together in a bowl and then pour over the bread. Top with remaining cheese. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat over to 325º and bake uncovered in a water bath* for one hour.

*Set the 9X13-inch dish inside of a dish that is slightly larger. Fill the outer dish with water. Place both in the over to cook.
