1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup uncooked quick oats
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour, divided
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
4 ounces cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
6 cups sliced, pared apples

This dish is cooked in a microwave oven.

Melt butter in a 2 quart casserole dish in the microwave. Make the crumb topping- Stir in brown sugar and oats. Cook on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir in flour, and set aside.

In an 8X8 baking dish, combine apples, lemon juice, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tbsp flour, cinnamon, and salt.
Spread evenly and microwave on HIGH for 8 minutes.

Blend softened cream cheese, milk, 1/4 cup sugar, egg, and 1 tbsp flour. Pour over apples.

Sprinkle with crumb topping.

Microwave on HIGH for 6- 10 minutes, until apples are tender.

Serve warm, topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
