1 box flavored Jello Powder. (Orange or Watermelon)

1/2 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup Orange Juice (for the Orange slice jello shots)
6 Oranges

1 cup boiling water (for the Watermelon slice Jello shots)
1 small seedless watermelon

1 cup CHILLED Vodka (I keep mine in the freezer all the time because I like very chilled vodka anyway)

For Orange Jello Shots: 1 box Orange flavored Jello powder

Slice in half and juice 6 oranges and save the juice.
Carefully scrape out the inside skins of the oranges, being very careful not puncture or tear the orange skin.
Place each half of the orange skins in a Jumbo cupcake pan, making sure they are as level as possible.
Mix OJ, boiling water and Vodka in bowl until dissolved completely.
Pour Jello mixture into each orange half to about 1/4 inch from top.
Place in refrigerator until completely chilled and jello is set.
Before serving, slice each orange half into individual slices, just as you would slice an orange.

For Watermelon Jello Shots: 2 boxes Watermelon flavored Jello powder

Cut watermelon in half. Scrape out watermelon to white rind.
Place each watermelon half in square 8x8 cake pans.
Mix boiling water, Jello powder and Vodka in a bowl until dissolved completely.
Pour Jello mixture into each half of the Watermelon until about 1/4 in from top
Place in refrigerator until completely chilled and set.
Before serving cut watermelon into slices.

Levi asked me to make jello shots for a gathering of friends he was having over one summer night. Of course I couldn't just make jello shots, nope, not me. I had to make jello shots that had never been seen before.

Loads of fun to make but even more fun to see everyone's reactions. Real party favorite. And tastes darn good also.
