1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1- 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 tsp dried red pepper flakes
salt to taste

1 lb. penne pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter and oil in a heavy large saucepan. Add onion, and saute until soft, about 8 minutes.
Add tomatoes and simmer for about 15 more minutes.
Add cream, vodka, salt and red pepper. Simmer 5- 10 minutes.
Cook penne to desired tenderness. Toss cooked penne with sauce. Serve with grated cheese.
