1 cup softened butter
1 egg
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
¾ cups sugar
2 ½ cups flour

*Approx. 3 dozen
Preheat oven to 375º
cream together butter and sugar until fluffy
Add egg and mix well, add vanilla
gradually mix in dry ingredients
Chill for minimum of 1 hour
Roll out and cut into shape as desired
Bake 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden around edges
