Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Arrowroot Powder (available in 8 oz. boxes)
Rock sugar in plastic bags (light brown irregular crystals)

Directions:
Directions:

1, Put about 2 cups water in a little pot and add the rock sugar – about 1/4 cup to taste. Let it boil and dissolve.

2. Make a smooth paste of 2 T arrowroot to 2-3 T cold water. Stir in sugar water & bring to boil again.

If you prefer a thicker paste, mix another recipe batch of same proportions, and add until you create the desired sweetness.

It is important to make the paste first, so the arrowroot won't lump when putting it into the boiling water.

Ingredients can be found in Chinese Markets.

If you google "arrowroot pudding", you will find other interesting puddings.

The ancients also used it as a salve for poison bites, etc.
