2 slices bread
¾ cup hot milk
1 beaten egg
¾ pound ground beef
¼ pound ground pork
salt and pepper
3 tbsp grated onion
3 tbsp chopped parsley
2 cups strained tomato juice
1 tsp kitchen bouquet
1 cup hot water
½ cup chopped carrots
½ cup chopped celery
1 cup canned peas

Directions:
Directions:
Soften bread in milk. Add egg. Mix meats. Add seasonings, onion and parsley. Combine mixture, form in balls and roll in flour. Brown. Add tomato juice and kitchen bouquet. Simmer 10 minutes. Add water, carrots and celery. Continue to simmer 30 minutes. Add peas and continue cooking till peas heat thoroughly.
