1 Tbsp sesame seed, toasted
1 tsp sesame oil
5 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
4 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp dry sherry or sake
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 lbs lean beef (sirloin, top round, flank, chuck)

Directions:

Marinate the meat for 30-45 minutes.

Slice beef steak on the diagonal into very thin slices. Score each piece with an “x”.

Broil steak pieces as near the heat source as possible for 30 seconds-1 minute.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Turn. Broil 30 seconds. Or you can barbecue.

Makes 4 Servings.

I like to substitute lean beef with beef short ribs - cut 1/4” flank style.
