1/2 cup butter (1 stick margarine)
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 medium mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
2 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt

Frosting:
1 stick butter
1 8oz package cream cheese
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15x10x1 inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool.

For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, and beat well. Spread over bars.

This is one of the few recipes that you should not substitute reduced fat cream cheese.
