8 OZ DRIED CANNELLINI BEANS, RINSED
32 OZ CHICKEN BROTH
32 OZ WATER
1 TBSP EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
5 CLOVES GARLIC, SLICED OR MINCED
½ TSP SALT
½ TSP BLACK PEPPER
PINCH OF SUGAR
1 HEAD ESCAROLE, CHOPPED
½ HEAD OF KALE, CHOPPED

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in the crockpot.
2. Cook on low setting for 6-8 hours or until beans are tender.

TO FREEZE:
Combine all ingredients (except broth & water) in a gallon-sized plastic freezer bag & freeze for up to three months. To cook, thaw overnight in refrigerator. Add to crockpot with water & broth. Cook for 6-8 hours or until beans are tender.

Serve in soup bowls & top with freshly grated parmesan cheese & crusty bread.
