6 eggs
3½ c flour
1½ c sugar
1 c margarine or butter (do not use more than one cup)
4 tsp baking powder
2 T vanilla or anise

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs adding sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. Add cooled melted margarine and vanilla or anise. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon. It usually takes about 1 minute. Serve plain or dusted with powdered sugar. While hot, shape into a cone or roll into a cylinder and fill with your favorite cream filling. Store in an airtight container.

CHOCOLATE:: add 1/2 c cocoa and 1/2 tsp more baking powder and sift with flour.

COCONUT: Substitute 1/4 c coconut extract for vanilla and add 1 cup very finely grated coconut.

PEANUT BUTTER: Decrease margarine to 1 stick and add 1 cup creamy peanut butter.

ALMOND, LEMON, OR ORANGE: Substitute almond, lemon or orange extract for vanilla.

POPPY SEED: Add 3/4 c poppy seeds.
SEASME SEED: Toast 3/4 c sesame seeds in skillet, cool and add to batter.
