Stew beef and/or beef soup bones
12 oz. bag of carrot chips
10 oz. box frozen corn
3 ribs of celery chopped
½ head cabbage shredded
2 turnips, peeled and cut into chunks
1 small onion diced
1 lb. green beans broken in half
2 whole tomatoes
Salt and pepper. Teaspoon each.

Boil beef and/or beef bone in large pot of water, for about 30 minutes. Chop celery, and onions and add to the pot. Chop carrots (if using whole carrots) and add to pot. Add green beans and turnips and cabbage and tomatoes. Add corn and tomato paste. Simmer 2-3 hours. add water if needed and stir frequently to make sure nothing is sticking to the pot. Check for salt and pepper add more if needed.

You can add or subtract vegetable to your taste. I don't use potatoes in this soup but you can. If there is a time when you think it is too salty, add a potato and cook a little longer. This is a recipe I got from my mom, Anna Marie Mary Marguerite Kleinhenz Kelley! That's what happened when Godmother and Grandmother take a baby to church for baptism without the parents!
