Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 Tbs. canola oil
½ onion diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
¾ lb. ground beef (80:20 ratio meat: fat)
¾ lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 tea. sal1 tea. pepper
28 oz. tomato sauce
15 oz. ricotta
½ cup shredded parmesan
¼ c chopped basil
1 egg
18-20 lasagna noodles
2 cups shredded mozzarella

½cup marinara sauce for dipping

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large pot over high heat add oil, onions and garlic, cook until they begin to brown stirring occasionally. Add the beef, sausage, salt and pepper. Cook until the moisture has evaporated and the meat is browning around the edges breaking up the meat as you stir. Add the tomato sauce, reduce heat to simmer, cooking down until the mixture becomes extremely thick, almost paste like.

in a bowl combine ricotta, parmesan, basil and egg. Mix until smooth. Set aside.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Cut 6 noodles in half. These will serve as the layers in between the meat and cheese.

Spray a Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Then lay 10-12 noodles into the bottom of the pan, fanning them out in an overlapping pattern. One end should be as tall as the center of the pan, the other end should hang over the side of the pan.

Sprinkle half of the mozzarella into the bottom of the pan on top of the noodles. This will help bind the noodles together.

Spread half or the meat mixture evenly in a ring over the mozzarella then lay half of the cut noodles over the top to create a noodle layer. Spread all the ricotta mixture over the noodles in an even ring then layer the rest of the cut noodles and evenly put the rest of the meat mixture on top of the cut noodles.

Fold the noodles from over the sides toward the center creating an overlapping pattern.

Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella evenly on top of the ring.

Bake for 45 minutes or until cheese is a deep golden brown.

Cool for about an hour, then carefully invert the ring onto a cutting board or serving platter, Slice the ring, top with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.

Place bowl of marinara at the center for dipping.
