2 c fruit:
Lemon and orange slices
Other fruit, such as grapes, chopped apples, peaches, etc.

1/2 c brandy
2 Tbsp sugar

2 bottles red wine (Moderately priced Merlot or any decent dry, fruity red wine works well)
1/2 c triple sec
Ice

Directions:
Directions:
Place the fruit in a large pitcher.
Mix brandy and sugar together and pour over the fruit. You can let the fruit mixture refrigerate for several hours to soak up the brandy, if desired.
Add the wine and triple sec to the pitcher.


Add ice to pitcher, pour, and enjoy!

More or less brandy and/or triple sec can be used in this recipe, according to taste. Orange juice or other fruit juice can also substitute for some of the alcohol, as you wish.
