2 cups brown sugar
1 cup melted shortening
2 eggs
2 level tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups walnut meats, floured
3 ½ cups flour
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, and melted shortening together
Add beaten eggs
Sift flour and baking soda together several times
Add to sugar mixture
Add floured nut meats
Make into rolls
"Let in the Frigidaire" at least 12 hours
Preheat oven to 400º
Slice very thin
Bake for 10-15 minutes on a greased cookie sheet
