1½ lbs ground beef
1 c sliced celery
½ c chopped onion
½ c chopped bell pepper
1 clove garlic minced
6 oz tomato paste
6 oz water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
Reserve 1 c for biscuits

16 oz can pork and beans
16 oz lima beans undrained

Biscuits-
1½ c flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ c butter
½ c milk


½ c sliced pimiento olives
¼ c toasted slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Saute ground beef with celery, onions, bell pepper, & garlic
Add tomato paste water salt & paprika
Simmer then reserve 1 c for biscuits

Add beans and simmer

BISCUITS
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt
Cut in butter
Add milk

Place on floured surface and knead 12 times
Roll out to 12 x9 rectangle

Combine olives and almonds and reserved 1 c meat mix
Spread over dough
Roll dough from 12 in side. Seal edge and cut in 1 inch rolls

Pour meat and bean mix into 12 x8 or 13 x 9 casserole
Top with biscuits
Bake 425º 25-30 minutes
