½ c. butter (softened)
¼ c. shortening
¾ c. sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
With mixer, beat butter & shortening. At this time, you can add food coloring to dough, red & green for Christmas. Add sugar gradually continuing to beat about 5 min. until light & fluffy. Add egg, vanilla. Beat well.
Blend flour, baking powder & salt together. Add in 3 additions; mix well, after each addition. Dough will be stiff. Use cookie spritz to make cookies. Bake 375º 10-12 mins.
