Ingredients: 4 cups cubed white or French bread 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese 8 lightly beaten eggs 4 cups of milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt Dash of freshly ground pepper Dash of garlic powder Dash of onion powder 1 pound of bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 small can of drained sliced mushrooms (optional) Salsa

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º
Spray deep 9" x 13" baking pan with non stick spray. Put bread cubes in baking pan and add most of cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Beat together remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and pour over bread mixture. Mix everything together in pan for even distribution. Add remaining cheese on top. Cover and refrigerate over night. Bake for 1 hour. Tent with foil the last 10 minutes if its getting too brown. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with salsa. |
